My only complaints are the bagging skills are hit and miss. I've had Windex and chicken put in the same bag and bread thrown alongside canned food instead of on top on more than one occasion. Also, it seems to take a lot longer for the shift managers up front to call in reinforcements when it gets busy. Prices are quite a bit higher on a lot of things, but I guess if you're going to have a high quality standard it comes at a price.
Awesome selection and plenty of room to move around. Employees are as friendly and helpful as when I worked there over 20 years ago. The Meat and Seafood department has a great selection. I recently purchased the most expensive steak, but also the best quality steak I've ever had. Definitely worth the extra cost.
This store is awesome. Huge and lots of stuff that isn't at any other grocery store. Only down side is it takes a bit to find everything.
P.S. The Fuel Saver rewards have been useful many times.
Hy-Vees are great stores. Organized clean and helpful staff. Prices aren't bad either. Fuel saver card has saved alot.
Gina in the Pharmacy is one of the nicest pharmacists you will ever meet. She makes you feel so special, and that alone is reason enough to come back. Linda up front in the cashier area goes above any other cashier you'll meet. She makes your problems her own, and will stop at nothing to get them resolved for you. Not only that, but she actually remembers who you are. When you can walk into a place, and pick up on a conversation that you held a week ago, it just goes above all expectations. When you feel like more than just a customer, now that's what I call excellent customer service.
In conclusion...I always shop here first unless I need some beverages at a cheaper price.
Brand new store with everything you could possibly need in groceries. Carries many ethnic foods. Also has a restaurant, in store food stations, flower shop, pharmacy, liquor store, laundry, etc. Lots of parking. Located in the prime retail area of the town.
